I don’t enjoy basketball because I’ve never played it and don’t understand it. But the point is, soccer is 90+ minutes of activity by the same 11 players on each team (plus up to 3 subs per side). Unless a cup game goes to extra time, it is about 105 minute event, quite a bit different than the 205 minute marathon last night, with just 14 minutes and change of action. Lots of time to fill one’s face with beer and hotdogs though!
